This morning I was scared, and not just because I had to go to the dentist then face gold cup race traffic, but because I doubted myself and Laura, and didn't believe I could do 30 minutes

... but thank you for helping me drive out the demons, as I should know by now that I can do it, I have made it to week 9 run 1, and have now run for 30 minutes ..

..and I feel good :)

Graduation week has started .. bring it on :)

...besides bursting into tears in the waiting room when she told me he was leaving ... yes fine :)

As much as I may have disliked running in the past I am a dental phobic, sound like a real wreck don't I !!!

After graduating Monday I felt a bit lost but ran to the C25k+ podcast Stepping Stones last night and absolutely loved it! I know not everyone has liked it but it was perfect for me as I always feel a compulsion to run to the beat anyway which is hard if the tunes are all different because I'm constantly speeding up or slowing down and never get into my stride :O. Also Laura is back with some advice and encouragement. I'm going to carry on with the podcasts ( not tried the others yet though) and build up to 5k then work on speed and see how I do in the Race For Life in June. After that? Not sure. A little voice in my head is telling me to go for 10k but the old me from last year pops up and says don't be ridiculous, you can't run! Sorry, long reply but your question has helped me make some decisions, thank you! X

Khrissy, thanks to you too .. often good to think in a blog.. I was looking at the stepping stones podcast and loved the fact that I would not lose Laura :) I have that little voice too that is saying you have done what you set out to do and you are not a runner, so you can now stop :) Thankfully think my running partner (hubbie) will keep me going as it is a nice time out together and gets us away from our teenagers . So good luck with the next stage x
