Hi how long before you go out running do you eat ?? And do you eat meal before or after you go x has anyone lost weight doing there running x

Hi,
I tend to give it a good 2-3 hours after eating before going for a run otherwise I get a stitch and I try and eat after the run, I find my appetite is smaller :)
I've lost a bit a weight but gained muscle so sort of plateaued out. I thought this would annoy be but the mental strength and physical health I've gained having been on the program for a few weeks seem far more important to me for the time being. I'll try and focus on weight loss once I've graduated. Hope this helps, best of luck to you :) x

I run first thing in the morning, so don't eat first. If I go out a little later, I sometimes have a banana 30-45mins before. I've been on a diet this week, and have only lost 1lb - friends have reassured me that it's because I'm building muscle. So I guess over time, the increase in exercise will bring about weight loss, but it might not show right away on the scale.
